Private estate management is the ongoing oversight of the operational, financial, and/or administrative responsibilities behind a household. Depending on your needs, this may include residences, household accounting, vehicles and other assets, vendors, household staff, insurance and renewals, projects, records, and day-to-day administration. Principled Estate Management provides this support on a fractional basis, allowing you to engage experienced management in select areas without necessarily employing a full-time estate manager or building a family office to oversee everything.
-
Principled Estate Management is designed for individuals and families whose personal affairs have become complex enough to benefit from professional oversight, but who may not need a full-time estate manager or traditional family office. Clients may have a single residence with significant administrative needs, multiple properties, numerous vehicles or assets, household employees, complex financial administration, active projects, or simply more responsibilities than they want to manage themselves.
-
No. Services are tailored to your household. You may engage me for one area, such as household financial management, property management, or vehicle and asset oversight, or combine multiple services into a comprehensive management plan. Your engagement can evolve as your needs change.
-
Fees are based on the scope, complexity, and anticipated workload of the engagement. Factors may include the number and size of residences, vehicles and managed assets, financial transaction volume, vendors and household employees, active projects, reporting requirements, and the level of ongoing oversight required. Following an initial consultation and assessment, we provide a clearly defined scope and monthly management fee.
-
Your monthly fee covers the recurring responsibilities and level of oversight defined in your management plan. Significant projects, unusual travel, extensive one-time work, new-property onboarding, or responsibilities materially outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately. Any additional fees are discussed and approved before out-of-scope work begins.
-
Yes. Household financial management can include bill pay and cash management, bookkeeping and reconciliations, budgeting and expense oversight, property and project accounting, financial reporting, household employee administration, and coordination with your tax and other professional advisors.
Principled Estate Management provides financial administration and accounting services but does not provide investment, legal, tax, or other regulated professional advice.
-
Yes. Secondary residence management can include ongoing property oversight, maintenance and vendor coordination, seasonal needs, deliveries and installations, pre-arrival preparation, post-departure coordination, records, and recurring obligations.
-
No. You retain ownership and control of your accounts, assets, records, and important decisions. We establish appropriate authorization and approval procedures based on the responsibilities you choose to delegate. My role is to provide oversight, organization, accounting, coordination, and follow-through—not to take control away from you.

Ask. Every household operates differently, and many responsibilities don't fit neatly into a predefined category. If a recurring responsibility, project, asset, or administrative task is consuming your time, we can discuss whether it makes sense to include it in your management plan.
-
Start with a private consultation. You don't need to prepare detailed financial information or organize your household before contacting us. We'll begin by discussing what is taking your time, what you would like to hand off, and where experienced oversight could make the greatest difference. From there, we can determine whether Principled Estate Management is the right fit and what an appropriate management plan might look like.
